Il Girasole

Il Girasole is the brightest of the three apartments: pale walls, pale wood floors, polished-plaster feature walls and a balcony looking out over Lake Maggiore. The living area is one open space — sofa, dining table and a media wall with the TV — designed so a group can share it without getting in each other's way.

Two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room sleep up to 6. The double bedroom has a blue feature wall and a light wood bed; the second, all white, works equally well as a children's room or a single room for anyone travelling on business. The separate kitchen has an electric oven, microwave and espresso machine.

Broadband Wi-Fi, air conditioning, Netflix, a washing machine and a bathroom courtesy set are all included, along with the private parking space and covered bike storage. Outside the door: the public beach a few steps away, the restaurants along the promenade, Sesto Calende station 3 km off and the ferry that takes you round the whole of Lake Maggiore.
